IN plant extracts, what’s the difference between 4:1, 5:1 and 6:1 extracts?
Which one is better and how come there are very few 6:1 extracts available in North America. Also, are ratio extracts not as good as standardized percentage extracts?
In ratio of 4:1means: in ratio 4 parts solvent: 1 part cutted plant. Normally that extract from the higher portion of plant should be more concentrated ( 4:1 better than 6:1 ), but sometimes the solvent is saturated ( hope, that`s the correct term ) with 6:1 and not able to extract more.
The standardized percentage extracts are better, because they contain always the same concentration of active agent, that means the effect is reproducible.
