What extracts to use to describe deception in Jane Eyre and Wide Sargasso Sea?

I am struggling to find extracts from Jane Eyre and Wide Sargasso Sea to analyse for my coursework with a theme of deception. Help? Page numbers, chapters, anything would be appreciated.

Can you identify a passage in each which explores deception-someone deceiving another intentionally or unintentionally, or indeed, deceiving themselves? If so, can you then begin to compare and contrast them?
