Where can I buy clear flavorings and extracts?
I’m wanting something like caramel and hazelnut in a clear flavoring to put in my wedding cake so that it will not change color..I’d like it to stay white. Does anyone know where I can purchase these or do they even exist? Thanks!
I’ve already checked the obvious places like Wilton and the grocery stores, and I work in a pharmacy and know we don’t carry those. Know any websites? Thanks,Cormeliusb!
Wilton has some flavoring, but I am not sure if they have those. Check your local grocery store or craft shops.

Wilton makes clear flavorings. Try Michael’s craft store or a cake decorating store.

Use oil or extract. Check your local pharmacy. You only would have to use a few drops. Won’t change the color at all.

I’ve been using Watkin’s for many years. I discovered them when in the restaurant business.
Follow the link.
I think Cracker Barrel may also carry them but, not sure.

O.k. you might think I am crazy. But you can add flavored coffee creamer to your cake mix and change flavors. Use the powder kind. Add small amounts at a time, taste it, and re-add more as need it. You can also add it to the icing.
Go to cakecentral.com, we all were talking about it at Thanksgiving and Christmas time, about all of the possibilities that we could do since there are so many flavored creamers out there. Good luck.
